From 2014-2016, Gloria served as a communications assistant with the Centro Regional Ecuménico de Asesoría y Servicio (Regional Ecumenical Advisory and Service Center, CREAS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Duties include writing, editing, and disseminating stories of personal and community transformation related to the work of CREAS. The center is an ecumenical organization that seeks to strengthen the role of churches and social groups in the promotion of human rights. It provides training and small grants to local programs. Women, children, and youth form the priority for the grants project.

Home Country: Cameroon, Africa

From 2015-2017, Merlin and Severin served as educators with the Shade and Fresh Water Project of the Methodist Church of Brazil. Shade and Fresh Water is a national project that provides academic, recreational, and Christian education activities for children ages 6 to 14 during times when the youngsters are not in school. It is a long-time mission partner with Global Ministries.

Place of Assignment: Centro Popular para América Latina de Comunicación (CEPALC)  Home Country: USA

From 2015-2017, Gracie Lynn served as a media and program facilitator/instructor in the children’s and women’s program of Centro Popular para América Latina de Comunicación (CEPALC) in Colombia. CEPALC, organized in 1978, promotes productive use of communications media among the poor and disenfranchised. It offers training, produces culturally appropriate resources, and translates radio and TV products into Spanish. It puts strong emphasis on human rights and reaches out especially to women, children, and youth. Gracie Lynn took part in a wide range of direct and supporting activities.
