True Transformation

John 3: 1-3

Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who
was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night
and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from
God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not
with him.”3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the
kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

As I sat with my friend discussing about the histories in the Bible,
the story of Nicodemus and Jesus came in mind. We tried to understand
what it really means to us as Christians. The answers of Jesus to
Nicodemus were more in parable that makes it difficult to understand.
But when He said “you have to be born again” to Nicodemus, it meant
that Nicodemus lived but he was never existed. And so many people are
in that status–we live on this earth, but we do not exist because we
have not met Jesus Christ.

We try to change the world to be a better place for everyone, yet the
change starts in you. Once we have this change we become new people,
being born again. And the true change happens in a person when they meet
Jesus Christ, and he gives you a brand new life. So as we go Jesus is the
one who will transform or has transformed us the way that we transform
others. Therefore, receiving Christ and abiding in him in the mission
is the only way that we are going to the world.
